Paymon Khatibi received his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School. While at Loyola Law School, he was Editor-in-Chief of Loyola Journal Digital Law Student Magazine. Khatibi later continued his undergraduate studies at the University of California at Irvine. He graduated with degrees in criminology, law and society.

Khatibi is a lawyer who takes pride in defending the unjust against large corporations or government agencies. His practice as a lawyer has included injuries, product defects, death, government liability, sexual abuse, civil rights, employment, and business litigation cases.

In addition to writing and speaking on various legal topics, Khatibi was a member of the Board of Governors of the Consumers Attorneys of California and the Legislative and Education Committees. Khatibi is also a member of the Los Angeles Consumer Attorneys, where he was a member of the public affairs and education committees. He is a co-founder and past president of the Downtown LA Bar Association.

During his career, Paymon Khatibi has participated in many catastrophic injury litigation.
