Prominent Personal Injury Attorney Andrew Stern Remembered as Gifted Advocate, ‘Inspiring Mentor’
Andrew Stern, a noted trial attorney who played a leading role in the record breaking trial of a Salvation Army building, has died after an apparent accident in the bay outside his home in Longport, New Jersey.
Stern, 60, died Saturday morning. He leaves behind his three children Eric, Jeff and Jen and his wife Gwen, who is a professor at Drexel University’s Kline School of Law. His legal partner Elizabeth Crawford confirmed his death to The Legal on Saturday afternoon.
A veteran of two of the city’s best-known personal injury companies, first The Beasley Firm and then for 16 years with Kline & Specter, Stern started his own company with Crawford called Stern & Crawford PC shortly before in 2021
