McWhirter, Bellinger & Associates is pleased to announce that Rhodes Bailey has joined its legal team. Bailey is active in all areas of personal injury law and has many years of experience in seeking justice for those in need.

Bailey previously served in the Richland County’s Public Defender’s Office for 10 years, where he rose to chief litigator and discovered his passion for helping people in need.

“When people come to a lawyer, they are usually at one of the most difficult times in their lives. I enjoy being able to support them and let them know that I am in their corner. I really love helping people in this way and it is my job. ”

Bailey, who also worked for civil defense firm Grier, Cox and Cranshaw, LLC, looks forward to working with his new colleagues at McWhirter, Bellinger & Associates.

Bailey is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and a member of the Bar Judicial Qualifications Committee and the South Carolina House of Delegates and co-chair of the Courthouse Committee of the Richland County Bar. He is a 2003 graduate of the College of Charleston and the University of South Carolina School of Law (2007) where he received the Trial Clinic’s Professionalism Award.
