Schaumburg-based company Lavelle Law has announced that attorney Joseph Vito has been appointed as a partner in the firm. Vito mainly focuses on personal injury cases as well as litigation, real estate and electoral law cases.
Vito joined Lavelle Law in November 2015. His career has included working in law firms and corporations. Vito received his BA from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign before attending Chicago-Kent College of Law where he received his JD. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Northwest Suburban Bar Association.
“Over the past five years, Joe has been instrumental in building our personal injury practice group at Lavelle Law,” said managing partner Ted McGinn. “He has been very successful in representing our customers in challenging cases and I am delighted that he is taking this next step in his career as a partner in this company.”
Vito serves as a trustee on the Village Board in Wheeling and is the past president of the Greater Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce.
