Riah loves to grill! He said if he wasn’t a lawyer, he would spend his days grilling in Big Green Egg competitions. Riah got his big green egg for Christmas about 4 years ago and has been obsessed ever since. After a busy day in the office, he likes to light the grill. “Whenever I’m stressed, I grill on my egg. It’s a great stress reliever for me, ”said Riah. His specialties include his rack of lamb and ribs of beef.

  • “I am a great foodie.”

When Riah is not working, he and his wife, Amina, can explore Atlanta’s fantastic food scene. Before their son was born, Riah and Amina looked up Atlanta’s Thrillist Magazine and tried out all the new and trendy restaurants they could find. Some of his favorite Atlanta dishes are Kevin Rathbun Steak and South City Kitchen.

  • “I know a lot about wine even though I don’t drink it.”

While attending the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University in Houston, Riah worked in a wine bar where he acquired an extensive knowledge of wine. “I don’t drink wine, but I know a lot about it,” he said. If you ever need advice on your next bottle, please contact Riah!

  • “I play the saxophone.”

Riah has been playing the saxophone since grade 6. He said he wasn’t as good as he used to be, but he could still figure out a few songs. Riah may not be the next Charlie Parker, but it’s still an impressive skill.

  • “I’m a huge baseball fan.”

Riah loves baseball, whether he’s watching or playing. Some of his favorite memories are in the field. A native of Atlanta, Riah is a huge fan of the Braves. He remembers growing up in the 90s and living through the glory days of the Braves. Now he enjoys watching Ronald Acuña Jr. and Ozzie Albies play at Truist Park.
