Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings ™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have hired or consulted lawyers or law firms.

The evaluation of the customer review is determined by aggregating validated responses. Individuals submitting reviews are either individuals who have consulted with the attorney / law firm or who have hired the attorney / law firm and wish to share their experience with that attorney or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires an attorney, including in-house attorneys, officers, small business owners, and individuals.

Martindale-Hubbell certifies that an investigator is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents are required to confirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client, or were a client of the identified attorney or law firm, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the attorney-client relationship as is often the case in secret. The content of the answers comes exclusively from reviewers.

Previous results do not guarantee a similar result and Martindale-Hubbell assumes no responsibility for the content or accuracy of reviews. For more information on Martindale Hubbell customer ratings, please visit our customer reviews page

Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings ™ have been the gold standard for attorney reviews for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a particular area of practice.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard because of its objectivity and completeness. Lawyers requested for peer reviews include both those selected by the audited lawyer and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys who have practiced for at least three years and who have received a sufficient number of reviews from unaffiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a rating.

What are the Different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?* *

Lawyers who receive peer reviews but not enough to compose a Martindale Hubbell peer review rating will post those reviews on our websites.
