South Florida Trial Attorney Bo Dennis Brings 31 Years of Experience, Team Mentality to Mediation Practice

PLANTATION, Fla., January 4, 2021 / PRNewswire / – After 31 years as a civil litigation attorney, Kevin “Bo” Dennis embarks on a full-time mediation career starting this month as a member of the Upchurch Watson White & Max panel.

Mr. Dennis is based in the Upchurch Watson White & Max plantation office but is an agent throughout the state, in person or via videoconference.

He expects mediation in the areas that make up a large part of his practice: personal injury and death from accidents involving motor vehicles, motorcycles and tractor units, liability for premises, slips and falls, product defects and malpractice. Mr. Dennis has also worked on family law, trade disputes, property damage, insurance claims, hurricane and homeowner claims, and insurance law.

He has been described as a team player who comes to the table with empathy, a strong work ethic and broad experience.

“”Bo Dennis brings great energy and boundless enthusiasm to his new role as a facilitator, “he said John Upchurch, President and CEO of UWWM. “We warmly welcome this successful litigator to our ranks and look forward to a long and fruitful relationship when he enters this new phase of his career.”

All of his life experiences contribute in some way to his dispute settlement practice. “Although I was mostly litigation (and the little man’s) attorney, I have handled a wide range of cases and worked hard to see the big picture,” he said. “By seeing both sides of the legal issues presented, in most cases I was able to minimize risk, resolve cases and save everyone time and money.”

Mr. Dennis grew up with his seven brothers in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He was an Eagle Scout and belonged to the Order of the Arrow. He competed on his high school baseball, soccer, and wrestling teams, for which he was inducted into the Hall of Fame. He played college baseball and soccer for the University of Delaware and was selected as an All American in 1979. He received his law degree from Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University. In the future, if he does not meditate, he will continue to pursue pastimes such as reading, playing the guitar, golfing, writing and “interacting with other people”.
