Founded in 2005 by Dionne E. Choyce, Choyce is a traffic, criminal defense and personal injury law firm specializing in tickets, traffic accidents and DUIs, but also handling serious criminal cases.

Choyce describes his team of local lawyers as “personable and aggressive” in serving their clients.

“We are results-oriented and have had an excellent track record for our customers. With over 15 years of experience handling cases across Northern California, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional legal service no matter what, ”the company website states. “Whether you’re charged with murder or battling a traffic ticket, the lawyers at Choyce Law Firm are on your side. We devote time, resources and dedication to treating our customers with the utmost respect, dignity and compassion at such a difficult time. “

Choyce’s development in the courtroom began at the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law, where he led the McGeorge Trial Competition Team to a regional championship in competition with the American Trial Lawyers Association.

After graduating from law school, Choyce worked for the Alameda District Attorney’s Office in Oakland, where he gained extensive courtroom experience following all phases of criminal cases, including legal proceedings, preliminary criminal hearings, juvenile offenses trials, and misdemeanors and criminal offenses in court – and exercise negotiations before entering private practice.

Choyce received his bachelor’s degree in English (with honors) from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. He then graduated from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He graduated from the University of Pacific with a law degree from the McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento.

Yuri B. Hill is the firm’s other attorney.

Hill received his bachelor’s degree from Howard University in Washington, DC before attending the University of Toledo College of Law in Ohio. After passing the California State Bar, Yuri entered a private practice in Sacramento that primarily focused on criminal law. Since then, he has stood up for those facing traffic and misdemeanor charges and those whose charges are as grave as murder.
