The $ 202 million legal fees charged by attorneys who reached a settlement for residents of Flint, Michigan, are not only being criticized in court.

The motion, filed in court on March 8, was circulated on newspaper pages and social media, prompting Michigan lawmakers to pass resolutions condemning the inflated charges. A group called Michigan Lawsuit Abuse Watch has launched an online petition asking Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel to oppose the charges.
