Bakersfield attorney talks about supermarket slip and fall accidents

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – A whitepaper from the Kern County Grand Jury stated that communities and local governments need to do more to support projects that not only shelter the homeless but prevent conditions that lead to homelessness.

The 18-page Grand Jury Report, titled “Homelessness in Kern County and the Impact on Our Community,” says Kern County’s Board of Directors and Bakersfield City Council must support projects that build more homes and that have substantial government funding for various housing projects have been made available due to “unwillingness” to keep them going.
